Description:

  • The Security Engineer at Stitch is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the security systems are operational, as well as securely implementing new developments within the company.
  • Key responsibilities include securing data, endpoints, and networks, preparing for and responding to security incidents, overseeing SIEM solutions, conducting risk management activities like pen-testing and threat hunting, developing internal security standards and policies, and managing security audit processes.
  • The role also involves working with engineering teams to ensure secure architecture and design, contributing to security requirements for industry standards, conducting diligence on third-party vendors, and mentoring staff on security matters.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
  • Candidates should have a total of 5+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in a security-related role and 2+ years as a developer.
  • Experience working with standards such as ISO 27001, PCI, CIS Top 18, etc is necessary.
  • Possession of qualifications like CISSP, CISM, SSCP, or similar is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a clear understanding of security controls and requirements are essential.
