Description:
The Security Engineer at Stitch is responsible for maintaining and ensuring the security systems are operational, as well as securely implementing new developments within the company.
Key responsibilities include securing data, endpoints, and networks, preparing for and responding to security incidents, overseeing SIEM solutions, conducting risk management activities like pen-testing and threat hunting, developing internal security standards and policies, and managing security audit processes.
The role also involves working with engineering teams to ensure secure architecture and design, contributing to security requirements for industry standards, conducting diligence on third-party vendors, and mentoring staff on security matters.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
Candidates should have a total of 5+ years of experience, with at least 3 years in a security-related role and 2+ years as a developer.
Experience working with standards such as ISO 27001, PCI, CIS Top 18, etc is necessary.
Possession of qualifications like CISSP, CISM, SSCP, or similar is advantageous.
Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a clear understanding of security controls and requirements are essential.
