Remote Security Engineer

Description:

• The Security Engineer position at Ema involves working on innovative security solutions to safeguard proprietary technologies and client data.
• Responsibilities include acting as an expert for security technologies and controls, developing and maintaining security measures, and ensuring compliance with international standards.
• The role also requires collaborating with technology and business groups, building relationships with developers, and formulating industry best practices for information security.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in MIS, Computer Science, or a related technology field.
• 3-5 years of experience in information security, preferably in technology or related fields.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, multitasking ability, and strategic problem-solving skills.
• Effective teaching, mentoring, and knowledge transfer skills.
• Experience with maintaining documentation, providing support, and interacting confidently with counterparts at all levels.
• Proven experience in heavily distributed environments, being on-call for support, and collaborating with teams across locations.
• Consulting experience is a plus, along with strong presentation skills to convey complex security concepts.
