Loadsmart is a hyper-growth logistics tech company valued at over $1 billion, seeking a Security Engineer for a remote position in Brazil.
The role involves ensuring the safety and compliance of applications and networks within a dynamic and fast-paced global company.
Responsibilities include implementing controls for information systems, architecting and monitoring IAM systems, and identifying best monitoring tactics.
The Security Engineer will build security plans, document operational procedures, maintain incident response and disaster recovery plans, and train staff on security procedures.
The position also requires analyzing and implementing security controls, generating security reports, and improving the cloud security posture.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in Blue team or defensive security.
Fluency in English is required, with the ability to communicate comfortably with native speakers daily.
Experience managing AWS IAM, identifying vulnerabilities in permissions, and fixing them with AWS SSO is necessary.
Familiarity with security standards such as CIS, NIST, and OWASP is required.
Candidates should have experience automating tasks to scale security tests and working with logs, metrics, monitoring, and analytics.
Securing cloud environments and implementing security controls while correlating events and generating reports is essential.
Proficiency with automation and provisioners like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef is required.
Candidates should also have experience automating tasks using scripting languages such as Python and/or Bash.
