Remote Security Engineer

Description:

• The IT Security Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the security infrastructure for the organization.
• Responsibilities include managing security systems like firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus solutions.
• Conducting security audits, vulnerability assessments, and managing Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
• Implementing Data Loss Prevention (DLP) tools, CrowdStrike endpoint security solutions, and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems.
• Monitoring security alerts, responding to incidents, conducting root cause analysis, and implementing preventive measures.
• Identifying and assessing security risks, developing strategies to mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with regulations and industry standards, and conducting security training for employees.
• Collaborating with IT teams, integrating security measures, and communicating security issues to stakeholders.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in IT security or a related role.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Experience in providing security recommendations for hardware and software.
• Strong knowledge of security principles, protocols, and technologies.
• Experience with security tools like firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, endpoint protection, and DLP.
• Proven experience in managing Mobile Device Management (MDM) solutions.
• Familiarity with CrowdStrike endpoint security solutions and Microsoft Purview.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Upper-Intermediate English proficiency.
