Description:

The Security Engineer, Detection & Response will work with OpenAI engineers and researchers to build, operate, and secure AI technologies.
Responsibilities include driving projects in various security verticals, innovating to solve security problems, and collaborating on cutting-edge AI research.
The role involves innovating on Detection and Response infrastructure by building tools, developing, measuring, and tuning detection rules, and automating manual response processes.
Ensuring visibility and control of OpenAI’s endpoint fleet (macOS, Windows) and driving improvements across identity access and management, device management, productivity software, and public cloud environments.

Requirements:

Experience in Security or a Security-adjacent field is required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Azure and/or cloud infrastructure platforms is necessary.
Knowledge of modern adversary tactics, techniques, and procedures is essential.
Proficiency with a scripting language (e.g. Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar) is required.
Ability to empathize and collaborate with colleagues, independently manage and run projects, and prioritize efforts for risk reduction is a must.
