Description:
The Security Engineer will collaborate with the InfoSec Team, IT, and Product-Engineering teams to implement the strategic security vision into products.
They will design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures for applications and cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities include implementing Cloud Security Best Practices, keeping detailed documentation of security configurations, and performing security-focused code reviews.
The role involves supporting compliance efforts, embedding security frameworks in the software development lifecycle, and participating in the entire SDLC.
The Security Engineer will lead incident response efforts during security breaches and manage investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery activities.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate should be an expert in application and cloud security with a deep understanding of threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
Proficiency in programming and automation using Go, JavaScript, Bash, and Terraform is required.
Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Familiarity with web application security principles, AWS, GCP production environments, and industry compliance standards.
Bonus points for security certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, CEH, or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer / AWS Certified Security Engineer.
