Description:

  • The Security Engineer will collaborate with the InfoSec Team, IT, and Product-Engineering teams to implement the strategic security vision into products.
  • They will design, implement, and maintain robust security architectures for applications and cloud infrastructure.
  • Responsibilities include implementing Cloud Security Best Practices, keeping detailed documentation of security configurations, and performing security-focused code reviews.
  • The role involves supporting compliance efforts, embedding security frameworks in the software development lifecycle, and participating in the entire SDLC.
  • The Security Engineer will lead incident response efforts during security breaches and manage investigation, containment, eradication, and recovery activities.

Requirements:

  • The ideal candidate should be an expert in application and cloud security with a deep understanding of threats, vulnerabilities, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in programming and automation using Go, JavaScript, Bash, and Terraform is required.
  • Strong collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with web application security principles, AWS, GCP production environments, and industry compliance standards.
  • Bonus points for security certifications such as CISSP, CSSLP, CEH, or GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer / AWS Certified Security Engineer.
