Description:

BlackStone eIT is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Security Engineer to join their team.
The Security Engineer will be responsible for protecting the IT infrastructure and data from security breaches and cyber threats.
This role involves working closely with other IT professionals and management to establish and implement security measures across the organization.
Key responsibilities include designing and implementing effective security systems and protocols, conducting regular security audits and vulnerability assessments, and monitoring for security breaches.
The Security Engineer will also collaborate with IT teams to enhance security measures, develop and deliver security training programs for employees, and stay informed about the latest security trends, threats, and technologies.
Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards, as well as preparing documentation related to security incidents, policies, and procedures, are also essential tasks.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or a related field is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in a security engineering role.
Strong knowledge of security protocols, standards, and best practices is necessary.
Familiarity with security tools and technologies, such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and anti-virus software, is essential.
Experience with security assessments and risk management is required.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are a must.
Strong communication and teamwork abilities are necessary for this role.
Certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ are highly desirable.
The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment is required.
