Description:

As a Security Engineer I, you will be a vital part of our cybersecurity team, responsible for implementing and maintaining our security systems.
This role is pivotal in protecting our digital assets from threats and vulnerabilities and ensuring compliance with our security protocols.
Your technical skills, attention to detail, and proactive approach will be essential in safeguarding our information technology infrastructure.
Position responsibilities may include deploying and maintaining security measures and controls to protect digital systems from cyber threats.
You will regularly perform vulnerability assessments and risk analysis to identify potential threats and recommend mitigation strategies.
Assist in responding to security breaches or incidents, including detailed post-event analyses.
Monitor security access and perform regular checks on network and security systems.
Work closely with IT teams to implement security solutions and maintain overall network and system integrity.
Ensure compliance with the latest regulations and security policies and procedures.
Stay updated with the latest security systems, tools, trends, and technologies.
Provide regular reporting on the status of the information security program and any identified security risks.
Offer technical support to end-users, addressing their security concerns, and provide security awareness training as needed.

Requirements:

You must have 1-3 years of experience in an information security role.
A solid understanding of security protocols, cryptography, authentication, authorization, and security is required.
Good working knowledge of current IT risks and experience implementing security solutions is necessary.
Experience with Vulnerability Management is essential.
You should have experience with network and security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and network monitoring.
Effective troubleshooting skills and the ability to solve complex problems are required.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills are necessary.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
You must be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
The ability to commit to an on-call schedule for off-hours Incident Response is required.
Experience with cloud security is necessary.

The salary range for this position is $69,449-90,283.
