Description:

  • Trail of Bits is seeking a Security Engineer II, AI/ML Security to join their Software Assurance team.
  • The role involves conducting comprehensive security assessments of machine learning and large language model systems.
  • Responsibilities include examining software across the AI/ML supply chain, identifying vulnerabilities, and analyzing novel attack vectors specific to MLops environments.
  • The engineer will contribute to threat modeling, evaluate AI adoption risk frameworks, and deliver specialized training on AI security concepts.
  • Key tasks include conducting AI/ML security assessments, designing security frameworks, performing application security assessments, and engaging with clients to review system code and architecture.
  • The position also involves developing AI/ML regulatory frameworks and assurance methods for mission-critical AI applications.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have extensive experience in AI/ML security and the ability to identify and mitigate ML-specific vulnerabilities.
  • A deep understanding of AI/ML architectures and frameworks such as PyTorch, Jax, and MLOps practices is required.
  • Experience in conducting technical security assessments of AI/ML systems and implementing effective security measures is essential.
  • Proficiency in AI/ML development languages (Python, C, C++, Typescript, JavaScript, Rust) and security testing frameworks is necessary.
  • Strong communication skills are required to effectively convey complex AI/ML security concepts to diverse stakeholders.
