Description:
Trail of Bits is seeking a Security Engineer II, AI/ML Security to join their Software Assurance team.
The role involves conducting comprehensive security assessments of machine learning and large language model systems.
Responsibilities include examining software across the AI/ML supply chain, identifying vulnerabilities, and analyzing novel attack vectors specific to MLops environments.
The engineer will contribute to threat modeling, evaluate AI adoption risk frameworks, and deliver specialized training on AI security concepts.
Key tasks include conducting AI/ML security assessments, designing security frameworks, performing application security assessments, and engaging with clients to review system code and architecture.
The position also involves developing AI/ML regulatory frameworks and assurance methods for mission-critical AI applications.
Requirements:
Candidates must have extensive experience in AI/ML security and the ability to identify and mitigate ML-specific vulnerabilities.
A deep understanding of AI/ML architectures and frameworks such as PyTorch, Jax, and MLOps practices is required.
Experience in conducting technical security assessments of AI/ML systems and implementing effective security measures is essential.
Proficiency in AI/ML development languages (Python, C, C++, Typescript, JavaScript, Rust) and security testing frameworks is necessary.
Strong communication skills are required to effectively convey complex AI/ML security concepts to diverse stakeholders.
