Remote Security Engineer Lead

Description:

• EngFlow, a SaaS company, is seeking a Security Engineer Lead to collaborate with stakeholders to ensure systems are secure and SOC 2 compliant.
• The role involves working through security questions, questionnaires, and reviews with prospects and customers.
• The ideal candidate should be a proactive team player willing to tackle complex technical issues and adapt to changing priorities.
• Experience in managing and building teams, especially in a remote setting, is a plus.
• The position reports to the Head of Product Engineering with a dotted line to the CTO.

Requirements:

• Passion for optimizing and analyzing challenges in security engineering.
• Advanced knowledge of supply chain and cloud security.
• Experience managing pentest processes with external vendors.
• Familiarity with SOC2/FedRAMP audits, intrusion detection, and prevention practices.
• Expertise in vulnerability tracking, at least one build system, DevOps, DevInfra, Linux, Unix shell, and Cloud infrastructure.
• Previous experience owning and updating an ISMS and other security documentation/resources.
• Willingness to be part of an on-call rotation for production issues.
• Experience in building and managing security teams, especially in a remote environment, is a plus.
