The Managed Security Team monitors customer environments, focusing on Incident Detection, Validation, and Reporting.
The Security Engineer will implement and maintain SIEM & SOAR Solutions and other technologies supporting the Information Security program.
This is a hands-on technical position requiring knowledge of a 24/7 SOC environment.
The role involves collaboration with SOC staff and technical teams to enhance AHEAD's information security program.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting client issues, monitoring security feeds, and operating network security equipment.
The Engineer will analyze security events, perform incident management, and provide updates during incidents.
The position requires familiarity with security tools, operating systems, TCP/IP networking, and vulnerability management.

Requirements:

Candidates must have experience writing automation tools and integrating systems using Python.
Experience with SOAR platform implementation and refinement is a significant advantage.
Creative problem-solving skills are essential for finding elegant solutions to complex issues.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
Candidates should have incident handling and response experience.
A collaborative mindset and willingness to learn are necessary.
2-4 years of experience in Information Security, Incident Response, or security automation is required.
Hands-on experience with security technologies such as IDS, Firewall, SIEM, SOAR, and EDR is necessary.
Knowledge of security analysis tools, common threats, attack vectors, and vulnerabilities is essential.
Familiarity with regular expressions is required.
A customer service focus and professionalism are important.
Candidates must be able to work in a confidential environment and handle sensitive situations.
Strong judgment and decision-making skills are necessary.

The compensation range for this position is $110,000 - $125,000 per year, reflecting On-Target Earnings, which may vary based on experience and location.
