Description:
The Security Engineer will be responsible for testing, installing, configuring, and maintaining security solutions/tools, as well as monitoring infrastructure for unusual activity, security breaches, and intrusions.
They will work closely with client teams on implementing, maintaining, and administering security tools, communicating findings, incidents, and concerns to relevant team members and leadership.
The role may involve Resident Engineer positions with specific clients for longer-term contracts.
Tasks include developing and documenting security standards and policies, deploying security solutions, conducting vulnerability scans, participating in incident response activities, and educating client staff on information security.
The Security Engineer will also recommend security enhancements, monitor for security breaches, and assist in developing automation solutions for incident handling.
Requirements:
5-10 years' experience in Information Security and Engineering.
Strong background in data/information security and system engineering.
Deep expertise in security space with knowledge of various security solutions/tools.
Experience deploying, troubleshooting, and maintaining security solutions like SIEMs, Endpoint Protection, email security gateways, etc.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements such as GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, PCI DSS.
Understanding of server operating systems like Windows Server and Linux, experience with AWS, Azure, and MS 365 is a plus.
Excellent communication skills, documentation abilities, and experience in specific industry verticals are beneficial.
