Cyderes is a full life-cycle cybersecurity services provider specializing in managed security services, identity and access management, and professional services.
The Security Engineer role focuses on the daily operations of the SailPoint IIQ system, ensuring efficient performance and timely completion of requests via ticketing systems.
The candidate will gather business and technical requirements from customers and application owners.
Responsibilities include providing input to functional and technical design, ensuring technical solutions meet customer requirements, and creating delivery documentation such as implementation and configuration documents, test plans, and run books.
The role involves working closely with project and engagement managers to deliver tasks on time and maintaining strong customer relationships with technical stakeholders.
The engineer will provide technical support, troubleshoot production issues, manage vendor technical support, and perform quality assurance checks for enhancements and updates.
After-hours and weekend work may be required to support a global organization.

Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ, including installation, configuration, and developing lifecycle workflows.
Experience in onboarding applications with automated provisioning, configuring reports and dashboards, and conducting RBAC and Access Reviews.
Proven troubleshooting skills for P1/P2 issues and familiarity with web technologies such as XML, SPML, and Web Services (SOAP/REST).
Proficiency in Java or BeanShell and PowerShell is required.
Experience with databases like Oracle, MSSQL, and MySQL, as well as installing complex applications on UNIX/Linux platforms.
Ability to build custom API integrations and proficiency in custom objects and rule configurations.
Experience with SailPoint upgrades and patch installations is essential.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
