Description:

  • Design, implement, and maintain security initiatives and controls for system management.
  • Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and guidelines for system management processes.
  • Perform regular assessments and audits of system management processes to identify potential vulnerabilities and areas for improvement.
  • Conduct security testing and vulnerability assessments on systems and infrastructure.
  • Monitor security logs and alerts to detect and respond to security incidents.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure configuration management practices.
  • Manage access controls and permissions for system management tools and platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
  • Participate in incident response activities and contribute to the development of incident response plans.
  • Provide guidance and support to other teams on system management security best practices.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in information security, with a focus on system management.
  • Strong knowledge of system management best practices, including configuration management, patch management, and vulnerability management.
  • Experience with security assessment tools and techniques.
  • Familiarity with security standards and frameworks, such as ISO 27001, NIST, or CIS.
  • Understanding of network protocols, authentication mechanisms, and encryption technologies.
  • Experience with security incident response and forensic investigation.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing platforms and security best practices (e.g., AWS, Azure).
  • Professional certifications in information security (CISSP, CISM, etc.) are a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of integrity and a commitment to maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information.
