Description:

• HackerRank is seeking a Security Operations Admin to support and enhance its security posture.
• This role is full-time and remote within India.
• The Security Operations Admin will manage tools like SIEM, CSPM, and vulnerability scanners.
• Responsibilities include conducting regular threat detection, vulnerability assessments, and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• The position involves working closely with IT, DevOps, and Engineering teams to manage incidents, remediate issues, and drive security improvements.
• Key tasks include overseeing security monitoring and incident management, performing vulnerability and risk management, collaborating with IT and DevOps teams, maintaining compliance and documentation, managing security tool maintenance, and staying informed on emerging threats.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 3+ years of experience in Security Operations, Incident Response, or similar roles.
• Proficiency with security tools such as SIEM, CSPM, IDS/IPS, and vulnerability scanners is required.
• Experience with security compliance frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, GDPR, and CCPA is necessary.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills are essential for investigating incidents and assessing risk impact.
• Effective documentation and communication skills are required to document security issues and collaborate with other teams.
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices, particularly in AWS security management, is preferred.
• Candidates must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize security issues effectively.
