We are looking for a security platform engineer to join our team.
As a Security Platform Engineer, you will play a critical role in the development, deployment, and monitoring of security services.
This position provides hands-on exposure to secure software development, CI/CD pipelines, cloud architecture, and DevSecOps practices.
You will work closely with a small, experienced team to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our platform.

This is a full-time remote position.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, and deploying security services and solutions using Python and other scripting languages (e.g., Bash, PowerShell).
You will implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for secure automated deployment of services to cloud providers.
You will apply DevSecOps principles to ensure the secure and efficient delivery of software, incorporating security best practices into the development lifecycle.
Continuous monitoring of deployed solutions will be performed to ensure high availability, performance, and reliability.
You will troubleshoot errors or other issues arising from automated workflows.
Contributing to the knowledgebase and documentation of automation, sharing knowledge, and promoting a culture of continuous learning is expected.
Participation in the design, implementation, review, and improvement of security architecture and application architecture is required.

Requirements:

Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement are required.
Foundational knowledge or experience in IT, networking, or systems administration is necessary.
Basic scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell are required.
A strong desire to learn cloud security, serverless computing, and DevSecOps practices is important.
Familiarity with secure software development and CI/CD principles is preferred, with experience being a plus.
Preferred qualifications include hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Terraform.
Experience with Azure DevOps or similar CI/CD platforms is advantageous.
Exposure to Active Directory, network administration, or systems troubleshooting is beneficial.
Current or in-progress certifications in cybersecurity (e.g., Security+, SSCP) are preferred.
A Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience) is desired.
