Description:
The Security Software Developer at Ardent will be responsible for integrating security practices throughout the development and deployment processes, focusing on automating security measures and incorporating them into continuous integration, delivery, and deployment pipelines through DevSecOps.
Responsibilities include developing enterprise-grade tools, managing CI/CD pipelines, deploying containerized applications to AWS EKS, researching and implementing Zero Trust architectures, improving security practices throughout the SDLC, and presenting technical information clearly at different organizational levels.
The position requires working independently, effective communication with the team, planning and prioritizing work, contributing high-quality code, and continuously improving technologies and processes.
Technologies used include Next.js, React, Angular, Java Spring, Ruby on Rails, Jenkins, Groovy, Docker, AWS EKS, New Relic, Splunk, and more.
Requirements:
7 years of software development experience, including full Software Development Lifecycle, full-stack applications, service-oriented architectures, continuous integration, and continuous delivery, containerized applications, and cloud platforms.
Experience with unit, integration, and end-to-end tests, DevSecOps tools like Git, GitHub, Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild, Jira, Terraform, SonarQube, Prisma Cloud, etc.
Ability to work well remotely in an agile environment, BA or BS degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics.
