Description:
Coda is seeking an experienced Security Software Engineer who is dedicated to protecting customer data and developing security features.
The role involves designing and developing systems and processes to secure Coda's infrastructure.
Responsibilities include driving Secure Development Lifecycle initiatives, establishing best-practice security policies, conducting threat model reviews, and performing security-focused code reviews.
The engineer will manage the public bug bounty and third-party penetration testing programs.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams to provide security guidance is also a key aspect of the role.
Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a technical discipline such as computer science, engineering, or math is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, TypeScript, NodeJS, or any other modern programming language is necessary.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in web application security is required.
Knowledge of web-based security protocols and frameworks is essential.
Familiarity with network security, authentication, and cryptography is needed.
Knowledge of AWS infrastructure, particularly focusing on security aspects like IAM and role-based security, is required.
