Truelogic is seeking a Junior to Semi-Senior Perl Back-End Developer to join their team in São Paulo, working in the E-Learning sector.
The role involves developing, testing, and maintaining back-end services and APIs using Perl.
Candidates will work with frameworks such as mod_perl, Mojolicious, Catalyst, or Dancer to build robust applications.
Responsibilities include optimizing and refactoring existing Perl codebases, collaborating with front-end developers and DevOps, and troubleshooting existing applications.
The position requires staying updated with modern Perl development techniques and proposing improvements and best practices.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in back-end development using Perl.
Experience with Perl frameworks such as Mojolicious, Catalyst, or Dancer is required.
A strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB, is necessary.
Familiarity with RESTful API development and web services is essential.
Knowledge of Git and version control best practices is required.
A proactive and problem-solving mindset, along with strong communication skills, is necessary for collaboration in a team environment.
