Description:
The Senior Account Director will be responsible for identifying, engaging, and closing strategic customers who will use fabric’s Commerce Platform, focusing on the Order Management System (OMS) to help grow their businesses.
This role involves identifying new strategic customers, designing go-to-market strategies, and maximizing customer value propositions and experiences.
The Senior Account Director will build their own pipeline, manage a book of business, and ensure long-term success for strategic platform and OMS customers.
The position requires comfort in engaging with C-suite decision makers and proficiency in understanding e-commerce and retail businesses.
Responsibilities include leading a consultative sales process for new strategic customers, articulating fabric’s value proposition, and leading complex conversations with retail executives.
The role also involves understanding customer business and technical challenges, creating and refining go-to-market playbooks, and partnering with Marketing for lead generation.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of previous SAAS B2B Sales experience in a quota-carrying, closing role is required.
At least 3 years of experience in eCommerce, specifically as an OMS expert, is mandatory.
Candidates must have experience building a book of business from scratch and securing strategic customers and referrals.
A proven ability to close large multi-year software subscription deals is essential.
A track record of exceeding 100% quota attainment is required.
Familiarity with the MEDDPICC sales methodology is necessary.
Experience in selling transformation or visionary solutions is preferred.
Candidates should be fluent in complex technology conversations and be self-starters who thrive in fast-paced, high-growth startup environments.
