Ema is building next-generation AI technology to empower employees in enterprises to be more creative and productive.
The Senior AI Application Engineer will provide world-class post-deployment support for Ema’s Agent Assist/Chatbot product.
This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and customer-focused problem-solving.
Responsibilities include configuring, troubleshooting, and optimizing AI solutions for customers to ensure high performance and exceptional customer satisfaction.
The engineer will independently manage complex deployments and solutions for enterprise customers with minimal guidance.
Key tasks involve configuring and integrating AI workflows, translating customer requirements into technical solutions, and developing automated tasks using Python and SQL.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of software engineering experience.
Significant experience in AI/LLM application development, including building agents, integrations, and workflows is required.
Experience in setting up, configuring, and supporting ML Systems or AI Agents is a plus.
Familiarity with prompt engineering techniques and building LLM-based evaluation frameworks is preferred.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, especially in production environments, are essential.
Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Proficiency in Python and SQL scripting is required, along with familiarity with integration protocols like JSON, REST, and SOAP.
