Description:

As a Senior AI Engineer at Xdemand, you will play a critical role in developing programmatic solutions that support our AI-driven inventory management platform.
You will focus on designing and implementing robust, production-level AI systems, managing scalable data pipelines, and ensuring seamless API integrations.
You will work in close collaboration with data scientists, web developers, and product managers to ensure that our solutions are effective, scalable, and aligned with our business goals.
The ideal candidate should have a deep understanding of software engineering best practices and strong experience in developing cloud-based AI services.
Key responsibilities include designing, developing, and maintaining the architecture of AI systems integrated into our predictive inventory planning platform, leading the deployment of AI models on cloud platforms (primarily Azure), developing and optimizing APIs for integration, building and managing scalable data pipelines, developing automated processes for model retraining and updates, integrating AI-powered features into our SaaS platform, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and staying updated on the latest developments in AI and cloud computing.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field is required.
At least 5+ years of experience in AI engineering with a focus on cloud deployment, automation, and API development is necessary.
Expertise in Python and hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn is essential.
Strong proficiency in cloud platforms, particularly Azure, for deploying and scaling AI services is required.
Solid experience in developing APIs using RESTful or GraphQL services is necessary.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Terraform, Kubernetes) and automation frameworks is required.
Strong knowledge of building and managing scalable data pipelines using tools such as Apache Airflow, Kafka, or AWS Glue is essential.
Experience in developing and integrating APIs within SaaS applications, emphasizing system reliability, performance, and security is necessary.
The ability to troubleshoot complex systems and optimize performance in production environments is required.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical challenges and solutions to non-technical stakeholders, are essential.
