Description:

BioRender is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to help accelerate the world’s ability to discover, learn, and communicate science through visuals.
The role involves building full-stack solutions and integrating AI into every layer of the product to create production-ready features.
Responsibilities include collaborating with product managers, designers, and data scientists to shape a roadmap that leverages AI for enhanced user experiences.
The engineer will rapidly prototype AI-driven features and productionize them into the core product to aid scientists in communication.
The position requires serving as an AI evangelist, experimenting with the latest AI models and techniques, and sharing insights to uplift the engineering organization.
The engineer will take end-to-end ownership of key components of the codebase, ensuring robustness, scalability, and maintainability of both traditional and AI-powered features.
Creative problem-solving is essential, as the engineer will need to embrace ambiguity and develop innovative solutions.

Requirements:

Candidates should have a genuine curiosity about AI and continuously explore emerging tools for real-world applications.
A minimum of 7 years of full-stack development experience is required, with a proven track record of building products from concept to production.
Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., ReactJS), NodeJS/ExpressJS, and cloud infrastructure (e.g., AWS) is necessary, along with experience in Python and ML libraries (e.g., PyTorch or TensorFlow).
Experience with LLM tooling, including developing, deploying, monitoring, and experimenting with LLMs in production, is essential.
Candidates must demonstrate creative problem-solving skills and thrive in ambiguous environments.
A passion for mentorship and collaboration is important, as the engineer will help peers adopt AI best practices and improve team processes.
