The AI startup Xayn develops Noxtua, Europe’s first sovereign Legal AI that assists lawyers in analyzing and drafting legal documents while ensuring legal compliance.
Noxtua is hosted in the EU and adheres to high standards of confidentiality and data protection.
The company was founded in 2017 and has a workforce with approximately 30% PhDs, stemming from research at Oxford University and Imperial College London.
You will join a collaborative AI Team of about 5 experts, focusing on generative AI, natural language processing, and privacy-preserving machine learning legal solutions.
Your responsibilities include developing scalable machine learning systems, optimizing NLP applications, creating workflows for automated decision-making, and managing data processing pipelines.

Requirements:

You must be eligible to work in Germany or within the EU.
Proficiency in English at a C2 level is required.
You should have experience in AI development with at least 3 successfully deployed projects.
Expertise in developing and deploying NLP and generative AI models is necessary.
Solid experience with open-source models such as LLAMA, Mistral, or Cohere is required.
Knowledge in building retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems is essential.
Strong Python skills and experience with AI pipelines are mandatory.
Familiarity with data processing, filtering, and augmentation is required.
Optional qualifications include fine-tuning pre-trained LLMs, proficiency in vector database management, and experience in deploying custom AI solutions with privacy considerations.

Flexible working hours are offered, with full-time options ranging from 32 to 40 hours per week.
