Description:

The Senior Machine Learning Developer will design, build, and optimize machine learning models for Canibuild’s AI-driven site planning tools.
This role involves developing scalable ML solutions and optimizing real-time AI models.
The developer will collaborate with engineering teams and report to the COO and Head of IT/Engineering.
Key responsibilities include model development and deployment, ensuring scalability and performance.
The role requires developing efficient data pipelines for structured and unstructured data, including aerial imagery and geospatial datasets.
The developer will build models to analyze and optimize construction site layouts and planning rules.
Implementing CI/CD workflows for ML using tools like MLflow or Kubeflow is also a key responsibility.
The position includes providing technical leadership by guiding junior developers, conducting code reviews, and driving best practices in AI model development.
Collaboration with data scientists, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into AI solutions is essential.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, or a related field is required.
The candidate must have 5 or more years of experience in machine learning development.
Proficiency in machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or scikit-learn is necessary.
Strong knowledge of cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, and containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes is required.
Familiarity with geospatial AI, computer vision, and big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark is considered a plus.
