Description:

  • The Senior AI Modeler at Cash App will be part of the Financial Crimes Technology team responsible for detecting and reporting illegal and suspicious activities on the platform.
  • The role involves using Machine Learning and Generative AI to monitor transactions, surface suspicious activities, and improve agent workflow.
  • Responsibilities include leading strategic roadmaps, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, and facilitating ML-based Customer Risk Rating programs.
  • The position requires building classification models to detect illegal use across various products, leveraging diverse data sets, and deploying AI solutions to enhance agent productivity.
  • The Senior AI Modeler will work with Machine Learning Engineers, deploy models to production environments, and utilize Python ML stack, LLMs, Pytorch, Snowflake, Airflow based tools, and cloud services.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, operations research, applied math, stats, physics, or a related technical field.
  • 4+ years of Machine Learning modeling experience with full stack ML experience.
  • End-to-end experience in building and deploying ML to production systems at scale.
  • Proficiency in advanced ML techniques like large language models, embeddings, sequence modeling, and graph convolutional networks.
  • Ability to independently drive programs with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and demonstrate business impact.
  • Curious, growth-oriented mindset with the ability to think creatively and identify valuable solutions.
