We are looking for an experienced Senior AI Programmer to join our dynamic team.
You will play a critical role in developing innovative AI systems essential to our gameplay experiences within Virtual Reality.
You will collaboratively help us explore, refine, and polish AI-driven VR gameplay.
This position is ideal for someone passionate about AI in games, who thrives in collaborative, creative environments, and is keen to push the boundaries of what is possible with VR.
In this role, you will implement and develop Game AI systems tailored to VR environments.
You will collaborate with designers and engineers to craft intelligent NPCs and reactive game worlds.
You will optimize AI for performance, ensuring seamless gameplay in VR.
You will research emerging AI and VR technologies, assessing and integrating innovative approaches into development.
You will mentor junior team members and contribute to best practices for AI programming in VR.

Requirements:

You must develop AI algorithms for immersive NPC behaviours and interactions.
You should collaborate with teams to integrate AI with VR-specific gameplay mechanics and design.
You need to optimize AI performance for VR platforms, ensuring a smooth player experience.
You must research and implement cutting-edge AI techniques suitable for VR environments.
You should build scalable AI frameworks and tools for future projects.
You need to address VR-specific AI challenges, such as spatial awareness and player interaction.
You must support QA teams in identifying and resolving AI-related issues.
You should have proficiency in C++ and a strong understanding of Unreal Engine 5.
You need experience developing AI systems for games, including navigation and behaviour trees or similar, on two shipped games.
You should have knowledge of 3D math and optimization techniques, particularly for real-time systems.
You must possess strong debugging and problem-solving skills, with attention to performance in VR.
You should have strong English communication skills with a passion for cross-discipline teamwork.
Familiarity with VR development challenges and opportunities is a nice to have.
Experience with animation programming is also a nice to have.
