Join Contentful as a Senior AI Software Engineer and innovate with AI integrations.
Contribute to building and maintaining an internal AI platform that accelerates innovation across the organization.
Develop scalable, high-performance AI integrations, APIs, tools, and documentation to empower feature teams.
Collaborate closely with feature teams to enhance their development capabilities and bring AI-powered solutions to life.
Build intuitive internal tooling and foster seamless integration of AI technologies to drive efficiency and innovation.
Work with product managers, designers, and other engineers to build best-in-class AI-enabled features for customers.
Implement and integrate AI technologies, such as generative AI, machine learning models, or NLP, to enhance platform capabilities.
Design, develop, and maintain scalable AI platform features while ensuring compatibility with other services and APIs.
Implement governance features such as metrics tracking, audit logs, security measures, and role-based access controls (RBAC).
Think critically about the interactions between AI models and product components for a cohesive user experience.
Quickly fix bugs and solve problems related to AI performance, model integration, or data pipeline issues.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving AI development processes for scalability and maintainability.
Stay current with the latest industry trends in AI and machine learning to keep the platform competitive.

Requirements:

Strong skills in integrating and implementing AI/ML solutions within a product development environment.
Proficiency in TypeScript and Node.js, with a deep interest in clean code practices and enterprise architectural design patterns.
Experience with serverless architectures, ideally in edge compute environments such as Cloudflare Workers.
Experience in building and maintaining asynchronous systems for automation and bulk use cases.
Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes, especially in deploying AI models or microservices.
Knowledge of implementing enterprise-ready governance features such as RBAC and audit logging.
Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP, with experience in services like AWS SageMaker or Google AI being a plus.
A natural problem-solver with innovative ideas for integrating features within product workflows.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
Ability to organize and prioritize competing workloads in a fast-paced, AI-driven environment.
Preferred: Hands-on experience with DevOps methodologies for AI, including CI/CD pipelines and MLOps practices.
Preferred: Previous experience with AI automation engines and understanding of data privacy regulations.
