As a Senior AI/ML Engineer focused on MLOps, you will establish and refine AI/ML deployment pipelines, leading initiatives to enhance operational efficiencies.
You will ensure scalability and reliability in delivering machine learning solutions to production, directly impacting the deployment and performance of AI models for military operational planning.
Your responsibilities include designing and implementing scalable systems for model deployment, monitoring, and maintenance.
You will collaborate closely with the first ML engineer and cross-functional teams to ensure robust and efficient AI solutions integrated into the platform.
Your expertise will contribute to building a reliable ML infrastructure that supports rapid growth and innovation.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required; a Master's or Ph.D. is a plus.
You must have 4+ years of experience in engineering roles with significant contributions to MLOps.
Strong programming skills in Python are essential.
Hands-on experience with container orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes is required.
Proficiency in designing and deploying agentic systems with modern model serving frameworks (e.g., LangChain, vLLM, FastAPI, or KServe) is necessary.
Experience with systems architecture, SQL/NoSQL databases, and Git version control is required.
Strong proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and distributed computing frameworks like Ray or Dask is essential.
Familiarity with model monitoring, logging, and versioning tools (e.g., MLflow, Weights & Biases) is necessary.
Proven expertise in deploying machine learning models in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is required.
Knowledge of advanced decision theory, experience with API building, simulation environments, and reinforcement learning pipelines, and proficiency with inference runtimes/servers like ONNX or Triton are advantageous but not required.
You should possess a design thinking approach to problem-solving, strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
