Voovio is a global deep-tech company based in Spain and Houston (USA) that creates photorealistic 3D models and offers patented Enhanced Reality technology for process industry leaders.
The company is seeking an ambitious Senior AI/ML Software Engineer to join their remote team in Spain.
The role focuses on adopting cutting-edge techniques into production processes and helping Voovio scale.
Responsibilities include developing and deploying machine learning models, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and delivering innovative solutions from prototype to production.
This is a remote position, but candidates must reside in Spain, allowing for flexibility and autonomy in a fully remote work environment.
Key responsibilities include developing, integrating, and operationalizing ML solutions in a cloud environment, optimizing model performance, driving the adoption of cloud technologies and MLOps practices, collaborating with stakeholders, and mentoring ML engineers.

Requirements:

A university degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, AI, or a related field is required.
A minimum of 3 years of proven experience with AI projects in computer vision or related fields such as image processing, 3D reconstruction, or visual simulation is necessary.
Proficiency in Python and clean-code programming is essential, along with experience in other languages like JavaScript or C++.
Extensive experience with machine learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow is required.
Experience with cloud services like AWS, GCP, or Azure is necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex, ambiguous projects are essential.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities are required.
A minimum English proficiency of B2 is necessary.
Candidates must be residents of Spain.

The position offers fully remote work based in Spain with flexible hours, including an 8-hour workday and 7 hours in August.
