Remote Senior Amazon Connect Engineer (AU Deployment Technology Provider, Home-based)

Description:

• The Senior Amazon Connect Engineer position is home-based and requires working Monday to Friday from 09:00 AM to 06:00 PM AEST.
• The role involves leading the Contacx PH Amazon Connect Support Team, providing Level 1 & 2 support to clients, while the Australian team handles Level 3 & 4 support initially.
• Responsibilities include overseeing the setup and management of the support team, collaborating with the Australian team on support processes, and optimizing support workflows using Zoho Desk.
• The candidate will provide Amazon Connect engineering support to the Australian development team, troubleshoot, implement, and optimize Amazon Connect solutions for client projects.
• They will also contribute to the growth of the Company PH support and engineering teams by recruiting, mentoring, and developing new team members.

Requirements:

• Tertiary Qualifications in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
• Professional experience in software/web development, debugging, resolving client issues.
• At least 5+ years of experience working with AWS, deep understanding of cloud architecture, services, and best practices.
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on experience with Amazon Connect, including design, deployment, and support.
• 5+ years of experience in a complex technology support role, proficiency in Zoho Desk, excellent verbal & written English, and leadership experience.
• Ability to collaborate on the design and documentation of support processes, knowledge bases, and best practices.
