Description:

  • Unlock the power of data at Lightspeed as a Senior Analyst, Data Operations & Analytics.
  • Serve as the ultimate bridge between data and business operations, embedded directly into the Business team.
  • Develop a deep understanding of business processes, systems, and underlying data architecture to drive operational excellence.
  • Drive the data roadmap of your Pod and collaborate with the Data Strategy team to shape the broader Data Office roadmap.
  • Identify and champion opportunities to optimize processes, systems, and data flows within your Pod.
  • Develop exploratory data models leveraging diverse data sources to support business partners with insightful datasets, reporting, and dynamic dashboards.
  • Monitor and ensure data quality, investigate discrepancies, document findings, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with the Data Office to establish and promote data standards and best practices across the organization.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an analytical role with a strong focus on data operations and process optimization is required.
  • Experience in Finance, Accounting, Revenue Operations (RevOps), or Sales is preferred.
  • Proficient SQL skills and a willingness to learn new tools and data systems are necessary.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to bridge the gap between technical challenges and business strategy are essential.
  • Enjoy tackling complex problems through meticulous research, analysis, and innovative solutions.
  • Must be meticulous with data accuracy and have a keen eye for spotting anomalies.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required to articulate complex problems with clarity and impact.
  • Familiarity with GCP, BigQuery, Dataform, Looker, GitHub, and Salesforce is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills, a self-starter mentality, and the ability to drive projects autonomously in a fast-paced environment are necessary.
