Remote Senior Analytics Engineer

• They are seeking a Senior Analytics Engineer to lead the transformation layer of their data platform.
• The platform integrates data from various sources like transactional databases, API logs, CRMs, payment systems, and marketing platforms.
• The team processes hundreds of millions of events daily and prioritize open-source solutions using Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• The role involves building data models for end users via BI tools, reports, and reverse ETL.
• The Senior Analytics Engineer will collaborate with Data Engineers and Data Scientists to ensure data availability and integrity.
• The position is fully remote and distributed.

Requirements:

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering or data analytics, focusing on the transformation component of the ELT process.
• Proficiency in building scalable transformation layers, particularly through formalized SQL models like dbt.
• Strong experience in Python for transformations beyond SQL.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, code version control, and relational databases (e.g., Postgres, Iceberg) with query optimization.
• Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment and work with ETL technologies for ingestion and orchestration.
• Experience working in a cloud environment, preferably AWS or GCP.
