Remote Senior Analytics Engineer, Safety

Description:

• The Senior Analytics Engineer will lead a team of full-stack data scientists on the Safety data science team at Reddit.
• Responsibilities include designing data pipelines and tooling to meet evolving needs, improving metric reporting, and revamping the data warehouse for better data quality.
• The role involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, automating processes, and building shared data frameworks.
• The position offers exposure to the full data lifecycle at Reddit and leveraging a large dataset.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in Python and strong SQL skills are required.
• Minimum 4 years of experience with large-scale ETL systems and building clean, maintainable code in a production environment.
• Experience as a database administrator with systems like Google BigQuery and excellent communication skills are necessary.
• Preferred qualifications include proficiency with Airflow or similar tools and experience with public/regulatory metric reporting.
