• As a Senior Android Developer on the Productivity Team at komoot, you will be a key member of the newly established Android Developer Productivity Team, working closely with other Android developers to enhance their productivity and efficiency.
• Your responsibilities will include collaborating with Productivity Developers from other teams, managing build tools and release processes, setting up measuring mechanisms for critical app metrics, and optimizing CI/CD pipelines and tools.
• You will be the pioneer of the productivity team, paving the way for excellence and ensuring accuracy, reliability, and compliance with best practices in app development.

Requirements:

• To succeed in this role, you should be highly self-driven, responsible, and eager to learn and improve.
• You must have at least 4 years of professional experience as an Android developer and a solid foundation in software development, including proficiency in Kotlin, Gradle, and at least one scripting language.
• Additionally, you should be knowledgeable in app monitoring, build and release automation, CI/CD systems, and stakeholder prioritization.
• Keeping your Android development knowledge up to date and excelling as a team player and communicator in a diverse and international remote team are also essential requirements.
