Description:

The company is a leading fintech firm engaged in financial brokerage operations, providing advanced financial products to clients worldwide, and is seeking a Senior Android Developer.
The flagship product is an internal trading platform offered to other brokers as a SaaS solution.
The position allows for remote work with a flexible schedule, but candidates already in Cyprus have the option to work from the office.
Responsibilities include familiarizing oneself with the project environment, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the existing Android application architecture, code, and development workflows, studying documentation, exploring the codebase, setting up the development environment, and participating in introductory sessions with team members.
The role involves integrating into the current development cycle, actively participating in ongoing development, taking responsibility for a feature or bug fix of small to medium complexity assigned by the team lead, and participating in iteration planning, daily team syncs, and other meetings.
Contributions to testing and quality assurance are expected, including writing unit and UI tests for features developed, reviewing existing tests for potential improvements or necessary updates due to recent code changes.

Requirements:

Candidates must have at least 4 years of experience in Android development.
A deep understanding of the Android SDK, development tools, and frameworks is required.
Experience in developing and deploying Android applications on the Google Play Store is necessary.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs and server service integration is essential.
A strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and experience implementing adaptive user interfaces is required.
Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git, is necessary.
Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills are required.
Proficiency in English at a B1 level or higher is mandatory.
