Remote Senior Android Engineer

Description:

• The Senior Android Engineer at Calendly will collaborate with Product and Design partners to create user-centric solutions for the Calendly Mobile Android app.
• Responsibilities include advocating for strong technical architecture, delivering features end-to-end, reviewing tech specs and pull requests, improving engineering systems, and mentoring team members.
• The role involves working with technologies such as Kotlin, Compose, and Android UI design.
• The position requires crafting clean, reliable, and maintainable code while following the MVVM architectural pattern.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of experience as an Android Engineer developing native applications at a SaaS or technology company.
• Proficiency in interacting with RESTful APIs from mobile applications.
• Experience working with Kotlin and building Android UI using XML and Compose.
• Knowledge of the MVVM architectural pattern.
• Ability to craft simple software solutions to complex problems.
• Must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States of America as Calendly does not provide immigration sponsorship.
