The platform allows users to build, share, and interact with AI bots and friends both in the Cantina and across the internet.
Cantina bots are lifelike social creatures that can interact wherever humans go online, offering a new media type for creators to share personalized content experiences.
As a Senior Android Engineer, you will design and build features that enhance AI-driven social interactions.
You will architect and implement significant features that are critical to the app’s success, focusing on seamless and visually engaging interfaces.
The role involves close collaboration with product managers, designers, and engineers to ensure a user-centric app.

Requirements:

You must have 8+ years of professional Android development experience.
Expertise in Kotlin is required, along with strong proficiency in Java for legacy components.
Deep experience with Jetpack Compose, MVVM architecture, RoomDB, and Kotlin Flow is essential.
You should be skilled in clean architecture and modular system design.
Strong communication skills for collaboration with designers, product managers, and engineers are necessary.
You must be autonomous and able to ask the right questions without needing hand-holding.
Bonus points for experience with NDK, integrating C++ libraries, and AI-driven features.
A passion for AI, creativity, and user experience innovation is highly valued.
