Attentive is seeking a Senior Android Engineer to help revolutionize customer communication through their AI-driven marketing platform.
The role involves designing, developing, and maintaining Android SDK and native applications, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and user experience.
The engineer will lead the Android architecture and define development processes, best practices, and tools for the mobile engineering function.
Collaboration with product managers, designers, and backend engineers is essential to conceptualize, build, and launch new features.
Responsibilities include debugging and resolving issues, optimizing performance, and continuously improving the reliability and efficiency of Android applications.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in Android app development, with proven experience launching Android apps from scratch.
Strong proficiency in Kotlin and Java is required.
Experience with Android frameworks such as Android Jetpack, Retrofit, Dagger, and Coroutines is necessary.
A strong understanding of Android design principles and best practices for building intuitive, user-friendly mobile applications is essential.
Experience with RESTful APIs and integrating backend services into mobile apps is required.
Familiarity with Android architectural patterns like MVVM and MVP is necessary.
The ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the entire Android function, including architecture, testing, and deployment, is expected.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $136,000 - $220,000 annually, plus equity and benefits.
