Remote Senior Android Engineer - BlaBlaCar Daily

Description:

• Join the development of BlaBlaCar Daily on the Features squad known as DFE.
• Participate in the entire application development lifecycle, from early conception meetings to deployment in production.
• Work with a team of 8 Software Engineers to deliver new user-facing features to improve user experience and increase carpooling usage.
• Adapt existing features and lead technical projects related to scalability, code quality, and testability.
• Be a technical reference for Android development best practices and promote clean architecture and effective pattern usage.
• Drive technical projects and lead the team towards successful project delivery.

Requirements:

• Strong experience in Android reactive development using Kotlin Coroutines, Kotlin Flows, RxJava (being replaced), and Jetpack Compose.
• Experience with Clean Architecture & Modularization, Design System, and testing mindset (JUnit, Mockk, instrumented tests).
• Ability to take leadership & ownership, aligned with business priorities.
• Full working proficiency in English.
