The role is for a Senior Android Engineer specializing in Kotlin, requiring strong experience in Android development tooling and processes.

Requirements:

Candidates must have strong experience with Android development tooling and processes using Kotlin and other Android libraries.
A strong background in unit and integration testing of Kotlin applications is required.
Applicants should possess a strong understanding and production experience of RESTful APIs and microservice architecture.
Experience with SpringBoot and Java ecosystem frameworks and libraries is necessary.
A solid understanding of object-oriented programming and cloud technologies is essential.
Candidates must have a strong understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases, along with experience in writing abstraction layers for database communication.
Understanding of the Android app release and publishing process and tooling is required.
Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and system design skills are necessary.
Strong collaboration skills in Agile/Scrum teams are essential.
Nice to have: Experience with Docker container environments, Kafka, and cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

The compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 a year, commensurate with experience and skills.
