Remote Senior API Software Engineer

Description:

• The Senior API Software Engineer will be responsible for driving the development of core API products for Butlr's People Sensing Platform.
• They will design and implement APIs to provide seamless, scalable, and robust solutions, influencing customer interactions and enhancing building management.
• The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, optimizing API performance, and contributing to CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• The Senior API Software Engineer will stay updated on industry trends and technologies to improve API solutions.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in API development and system design.
• Proficiency in Golang or a similar backend language.
• Strong experience with SQL databases.
• Expertise in designing and developing GraphQL API schemas and resolvers.
• Hands-on experience managing cloud infrastructure in AWS or Azure using tools like Terraform or CDK.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and tools.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to mentor and guide a team.
