Remote Senior Application Administrator (Oil & Gas)

Description:

• The role is for a Senior Application Administrator, specifically in the Oil & Gas sector.

• The selected vendor must have experience in developing and maintaining Oil Spill Response, Natural Resource Damage Assessment, and Restoration Project tracking systems and programs.

• Responsibilities include architecting application deployment processes and strategies that align with State standards for application monitoring, lifecycle management, failover disaster recovery, and security.
• The role requires expertise in integration with State Enterprise Architecture Services, specific APIs, identity management, document repositories, and related services.
• The candidate will design application-specific failover processes and strategies to ensure services align with defined Service Level Agreements.
• The position also involves developing integration strategies and validation processes to incorporate and utilize audit capabilities effectively.

Requirements:

• Mandatory expertise includes the ability to collect and document requirements for new system components or features, including impact analysis, cost estimates, and estimated development time.
• Desirable expertise includes advanced knowledge in the administration, configuration, and support of applications.
• Candidates should have experience in architecting application deployment processes and strategies that comply with State standards.
• Familiarity with integration with State Enterprise Architecture Services, specific APIs, identity management, document repositories, and related services is preferred.
• Experience in designing application-specific failover processes and strategies is also desirable.
