Description:
The Senior Application Developer will be part of a dynamic, flat, and international organization within Deutsche Telekom IT, working in integrated teams to shape the future.
The focus of the role includes Architectural Evolution, Cloud Transition, Cutting-Edge Technology, Agile Collaboration, and Innovation & Value Creation.
Responsibilities involve developing and maintaining source code of applications, working in SCRUM teams, mentoring junior developers, analyzing customer requirements, proposing application architecture, providing project estimates, implementing security concepts, and more.
The project involves working on the internal Vote application used globally within Deutsche Telekom, focusing on frontend development initially and gradually expanding to other parts of the application.
Required technical skills include Object-Oriented Programming, Software Architecture, proficiency in programming languages, Frontend and Backend Development, Databases, Containers, DevOps/Cloud, and willingness to learn new technologies.
Qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technologies, a minimum of 5 years of experience in complex solutions development, experience in object-oriented programming languages, and soft skills like communication, analytical thinking, and team cooperation.
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technologies.
Minimum 5 years of experience in complex solutions development.
Experience in object-oriented programming languages and agile software development methodology.
Proficiency in Programming, HW/SW Overview, and General IT Overview.
Good soft skills including Communication, Analytical thinking, and Team Cooperation.
English proficiency at least on B2 level, German language skills are advantageous.
