Description:
We are seeking a skilled HRIS Consultant for a project-based implementation of a Human Resource Information System (HRIS) aimed at streamlining and harmonizing our HR processes.
This project will focus on integrating disparate HR functions, consolidating processes, and ensuring data consistency across the organization.
The consultant will manage the project from inception to completion, aligning the HRIS system with organizational goals and ensuring a seamless transition to optimized HR operations.
Responsibilities include designing, implementing, and maintaining integrations between the HRIS system and other HR-related systems such as payroll, benefits, ATS, LMS, and timekeeping.
The role involves ensuring seamless data exchange between systems, identifying and addressing any issues that affect data integrity, and resolving data discrepancies.
The consultant will configure integration settings based on organizational requirements, including API configurations, system enhancements, and upgrades.
Collaboration with HR, IT, and external vendors is essential to gather integration requirements, provide technical support, and manage project timelines.
The consultant will analyze and resolve technical issues related to system integrations and data flow, escalating complex issues to relevant teams when necessary.
Developing and executing test plans to ensure integrations meet functional and business requirements is a key responsibility.
The role requires maintaining detailed documentation of integrations, workflows, processes, and system changes, ensuring all procedures and technical specifications are well-documented.
Compliance and security standards must be met, including data protection and privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA.
Ongoing support for HRIS system upgrades, releases, and other system changes is required, along with regular system health checks to ensure reliability and performance.
The consultant will identify opportunities for system improvements, automation, and process efficiencies to enhance the overall HR technology ecosystem.
Requirements:
Candidates must have direct experience with HRIS platforms such as Bamboo, HiBob, and ADP.
A strong understanding of HR processes like payroll, benefits administration, time tracking, recruitment, and performance management is required.
Experience with tools such as Workato is necessary.
Candidates should have experience working with APIs, especially RESTful and SOAP APIs, to enable communication between HRIS and other systems.
Knowledge of data formats such as XML, JSON, and CSV for exchanging data between systems is essential.
Experience in managing data transformation and data mapping between different systems is required.
Proficiency in SQL to query and manipulate data from databases is necessary, including experience in writing complex queries to support data extraction, integration, and reporting needs.
An understanding of relational database structures, especially in the context of HR data, is required.
Candidates should have experience configuring HRIS platforms to accommodate integration points, such as setting up SFTP connections and adjusting API configurations.
Customizing workflows and integration triggers within the HRIS and related systems is necessary to ensure smooth operation across platforms.
Experience in troubleshooting technical issues related to data flows, integration failures, or system outages is required.
Hands-on experience in identifying root causes of integration issues, performing system debugging, and collaborating with vendors or IT teams for resolution is essential.
Experience in creating and executing test plans, scripts, and test cases to validate system integrations is required.
Conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure the integration meets business and functional requirements is necessary.
Candidates should have experience working cross-functionally with HR, IT, and external vendors to gather requirements, design integration solutions, and implement changes.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a related field is required.
