Description:

  • Calendly is seeking a Senior Application Engineer, HRIS to join their Operations team, which is essential for scaling the business.
  • The role involves managing and optimizing Workday integrations, automations, and reporting to enhance HR operations and ensure seamless data flow between systems.
  • Responsibilities include maintaining and optimizing HRIS systems for stability and scalability, designing automation solutions, supporting integrations between Workday and third-party tools, building complex Workday reports, collaborating with IT and business partners, driving continuous improvement initiatives, providing technical expertise and mentorship, and leading projects from requirements gathering to implementation and testing.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 8+ years of experience working with HRIS systems, specifically with expertise in Workday configuration, automation, integrations, and reporting.
  • Workday expertise is required, including hands-on experience with Workday Studio, Extend, EIBs, Core Connectors, and APIs.
  • Experience in HRIS system administration and optimization is necessary to ensure scalability, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Familiarity with iPaaS tools like Workato or other integration platforms is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are essential, along with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues and improve system performance.
  • Candidates should be skilled in translating business needs into technical solutions and collaborating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive, adaptable, and collaborative mindset is required, with a passion for continuous improvement.
  • Experience in a fast-paced SaaS environment is preferred.
  • Workday certification and a degree in Information Systems or a related field are highly preferred.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work lawfully in the United States, as Calendly does not engage in immigration sponsorship.

  • The expected annual base salary for this role varies by location, with Tier 1 salaries ranging from $132,600 to $179,400, Tier 2 from $121,600 to $164,500, and Tier 3 from $110,500 to $149,500.
