The Senior Application Engineer role requires deep Salesforce Development and Admin experience, along with the ability to troubleshoot Git and DevOps issues.
The position reports to the Sr. Manager of Application Operations Engineering and requires over 5 years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining applications that integrate with Salesforce or NetSuite.
Responsibilities include owning and troubleshooting the DevOps pipeline for Salesforce, executing tasks in the application development life cycle, onboarding and coaching junior engineers, and providing consultations for business partners.
The role involves creating and maintaining technical documentation, collaborating with stakeholders, and actively monitoring technical debt.
Requirements:
Candidates must have solid experience writing clean code using Apex, JavaScript, and familiarity with Salesforce integrations.
Expertise in DevOps processes and tools like Copado is required, along with a strong understanding of Git and troubleshooting versioning issues.
Proficiency in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban) and automated testing frameworks is necessary.
A continuous learner mindset and excellent organization, critical-thinking, and self-management skills are essential.
Candidates should possess Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I & II and Salesforce Advanced Administrator certifications, with additional certifications being a plus.
A BSc/BA in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field or equivalent work experience is required.
