Remote Senior Application Security Engineer

Description:

• Phantom is seeking a Senior Application Security Engineer to play a crucial role in identifying, exploiting, and mitigating security vulnerabilities in their self-custodial wallet software applications.
• The engineer will be responsible for conducting security assessments, responding to Bug Bounty submissions, and ensuring security is integrated throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Collaboration with development teams to implement secure coding practices and participation in incident response activities are key responsibilities.
• The successful candidate will work towards making the digital economy safe and easy to use for everyone.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in offensive security techniques, with a focus on blockchain technology.
• Strong understanding of security risks, vulnerabilities, and concepts in web and mobile applications.
• Proficiency in code review for Typescript and JavaScript, with a deep understanding of application security threats.
• Ability to write PoC’s to prove vulnerabilities, review and ensure patch code meets repository standards, and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
