Remote Senior Application Security Engineer (Remote)

Description:

• Match Group is seeking an experienced Senior Application Security Engineer to ensure the highest standard of security for its products and members globally.
• The role involves leading collaborations across various teams to develop, design, and execute security priorities impacting all user-facing platforms.
• The position offers flexible working models, including full remote or hybrid options.
• Responsibilities include designing and implementing SDLC practices such as code reviews, static/dynamic code analysis, and vulnerability assessments.
• The engineer will serve as a subject matter expert for Application Security, providing guidance to Engineering and Product teams.
• The role also involves leading research into suspected application vulnerabilities and maintaining awareness of known vulnerabilities in application technologies used within Match Group.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have prior experience securing large-scale web and mobile applications, including conducting security code reviews, vulnerability assessments, and manual testing for logic flaws.
• Familiarity with dynamic and static application security tools is required.
• Experience in performing thorough threat modeling of web applications is necessary.
• The ability to effectively partner and communicate with Engineering and Product teams is essential.
• A minimum of 3 years of application security and/or development experience is required.
