Remote Senior Automation Platform Engineer

Description:

• Veeva Systems is seeking a Senior Automation Platform Engineer to join their Vault Automation Platform & Tools team in Hyderabad.
• The role involves architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining a suite of engineering tools to enhance productivity.
• The engineer will collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, and QA teams on tools strategy and approach.
• Responsibilities include critiquing design specifications, contributing to an automation framework, and maintaining a cloud-based test infrastructure with 24/7 availability.
• The engineer will evaluate and recommend new tools and technologies, diagnose and fix issues in the automation environment, and participate in code reviews.
• The position also includes mentoring automation engineers and participating in the technical screening process for new hires.

Requirements:

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
• Candidates must have 7+ years of relevant experience, including at least 4 years in building tools or test automation frameworks.
• Solid programming skills in Java are essential.
• The candidate should be comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-paced environment and be curious to learn and adapt.
• Strong time management skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
